VARK Questionnaire

The VARK questionnaire gives you a rough preference to your type of learning style. You can chose more than one option from each question and at the end you put your answers onto the scoring chart to find out your learning style. I did the questionnaire and i got 2 V's (visual) 5 A's (aural) 5 R's (reading/writing) and 4 K's (kinesthetic). This means that my preferred learning styles would be aural and reading/writing. I agree that i find it easier to learn when i listen and when people are explaining things, but i personally don't think i find it easier to learn when i read and write stuff down. From past experience of revising for GCSE's and other tests i found it difficult to take the information in by by reading it and writing it down. I find that what i read just doesn't stick in my head and if i write something down, i forget what i wrote before then when i read it all back it doesn't seem to make sense. Overall i think the questionnaire is a good way to find a learning style that you might not have realised you had before.
